Can you think of any areas currently within the site that could be improved or made easier to use.
#Response DateCould you tell me which parts, and how they could be improved for you?
.6/5/2008 9:56:00 AMLess hassle to enter a session, i.e. optional swell/tide/etc. logging
.6/5/2008 10:20:00 AMI thought it's abit confusing to find around within the seperate spots, a.i. who's logged there before, comments etc.
.6/5/2008 10:27:00 AMwould be good to establish a database that records isobaric weather maps (in series)against awesome days and photos so we can all get better at predicting to great days
.6/5/2008 6:37:00 PMBe more specific about the equipment used.
.6/5/2008 8:43:00 PMAs above, a drop down list to quickly find spots
.6/6/2008 9:23:00 AMI had, and still have, problems getting into the site. At top right it tells me I'm logged on as davelangrish, but when I try to click on anything a dialogue box pops up telling me to complete the login process first. Solution seems to be to log out of deepfried, then select "sign up" in sessionlogs. Maybe I'm just dumb, and that's what i'm supposed to do anyway, but I found it confusing, and put me off using the site at first. If I hadn't thought of emailing Chris through deepfried for help I'd probably have flagged the whole thing away, but he told me what to do :-)
.6/7/2008 9:27:00 AMFirst off, this is a great site! and Congrats. The only thing I wished for was easier navigation to locations that aren't featured on the home page. It might be right under my nose but I couldn't find it intuitively.
.6/8/2008 7:24:00 AMProblems as detailed above. Not sure if the fault was at my end or was a problem with the site but not being able to simply enter the site at the home page was a real pain.
.6/8/2008 11:23:00 AMYes: needs to be easier to navigate around
.6/9/2008 11:53:00 AMCouldn't find a way to send a message to someone else on the site if they hadn't logged a session a particular site, would have liked to talk to the guy who first added the Awatere River spot.
.6/16/2008 3:33:00 AMI found it a bit unintuitive 1st time
